We are hiring for an experienced casual Barista to join our Devonport Store Café! If you have Barista experience, are keen to learn, have a can-do attitude and are available during the daytime, we would love to hear from you! You will need: A friendly attitude and good communication skills to provide the attentive customer service Hill Street is known for. Proven Barista experience. A love of working with food and people (both colleagues and customers) Energy, initiative and willingness to take direction. The ability to follow company procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety. Ongoing daytime availability on at least 3-4 days per week and every second weekend. Ideally available for 20-30 hours per week. Your standard roster will be agreed based on your availability and our operational requirements, with flexibility to suit your needs. Physical fitness for lifting and standing. The 2025-26 base hourly pay rates for level 1 adults are: Full time & part time Weekdays $26.55 Saturday $33.19 Sunday $39.83 Casual Weekdays $33.19 Saturday $39.83 Sunday $46.46 Additional penalty rates apply to public holidays and some overtime and early morning shifts.
