Previous experience as a barista is essential, must be able to fit into the role instantly.
Saturday and Sunday shifts from 9am-5pm are required every week averaging 16 hours. Weekday shifts available during holidays. Age dependant minimum wage plus tips.
Duties:
-Provide friendly and attentive table service. - Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, such as coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Take customer orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate coffee-making equipment, such as espresso machines and grinders
- Prepare food items as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop area
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
Experience:
- Previous experience as a barista is essential, must be able to fit into the role instantly
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and different coffee varieties
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a friendly manner
- Basic math skills for cash handling and order processing
