Our team of Behaviour Support Practitioners are passionate about delivering a full range of services including; developing behaviour support plans, educations services and therapeutic supports for individuals that respond to the individual needs of clients whilst providing person-centred education to clients and their support networks. You will join our team in providing individualised behaviour support strategies with the values of a strengths-based approach and evidence informed practice.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

  • Tertiary qualifications in Disability, Developmental Education, Psychology, Social Work, or equivalent degree
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Current Australian Driver’s License
  • Child Safe Environments Through Your Eyes or Responding to Abuse and Neglect
  • NDIS Quality, Safety and You Orientation Module
  • Health Support Training
  • Demonstrated experience applying person-centred practice
  • An understanding of regulated restrictive practice
  • Member of the DEAI (Developmental Educators Australia Incorporated) or an allied health professional body or association.
  • Registration with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Commission as a Behavioural Support Practitioner.
  • Minimum 12 months experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
