We are family run business looking for a skilled , experienced bench joiner/ wood machinist who is highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy workshop team. Successful applicants will be competent in producing products ranging from doors, windows, staircases and more.
The roles within this job will include:
Preparing assembled joinery and assembling machine components to a very high standard.
Can follow plans and drawings.
Assembling products for delivery.
Using priming machine.
Keeping the workshop clean and tidy.
The applicant should have the following skills and attributes:
Minimum 3 years experience
Be able to work under own initiative or part of a team.
Have excellent communication skills
Good attention to detail and standard of workmanship
Be reliable, conscientious and have good timekeeping.
A good package is available for the right candidate, which includes a company pension scheme, bonus subject to company performance and 22 days holiday plus all bank holidays.
Working hours are Monday - Friday 40 hrs per week with Saturday mornings rota at present.
