We are seeking an Experienced Bread Baker to oversee our evening bread production at our Bakery Production Kitchen, starting at 2:00 PM. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will guide the team through all stages of bread production — from mixing and proofing to baking and packaging — while ensuring efficiency, consistency, and quality.
The ideal candidate has 3-5+ years of bread production experience in a high-volume bakery, strong leadership skills, and a passion for producing top-quality baked goods. You’ll lead by example, coach team members, and maintain smooth daily operations while supporting process improvements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily bread production for our retail stores, ensuring all products meet quality and consistency standards
• Coordinate and perform tasks such as mixing, scaling, proofing, baking, and packaging
• Produce bread-based ingredients (e.g., puff pastry) for use in prepared foods at our Commissary
• Manage ordering and inventory control, ensuring ingredient availability and minimizing waste
• Train, coach, and support bakery team members to maintain speed, consistency, and safety standards
• Maintain food safety compliance, quality assurance, and health & safety standards
• Collaborate with bakery leadership on process improvements and troubleshooting production challenges
• Communicate menu changes, specials, and shortages with store and bakery retail teams
• Monitor equipment needs and maintain a clean, organized production space
• Step in at bakery stations when needed to support production flow
