We are a family run independent builders merchant looking for an experienced yard person to help enhance our already great yard team, in keeping not only our yard in good shape and organised but also making sure to keep our customers happy and their deliveries running smoothly.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on clarity and professionalism.
• Experience in data entry is an advantage, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate processes and identify areas for enhancement.
• A proactive attitude towards upselling opportunities within the yard environment.

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard area, including proper disposal of waste materials.
• Assist in loading and unloading materials from vehicles, ensuring safe handling practices.
• Perform data entry tasks related to inventory management and yard operations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and customers.
• Provide support in upselling products or services to customers when appropriate.
• Utilise analysis skills to assess yard operations and suggest improvements as needed.
• Working Hours 7am - 4pm Monday to Friday, Extra pay if required to work on a Saturday.
