Position Overview: Boeing Defense India (BDI) is looking for an Experienced Business Operations Specialist to join our team in New Delhi, India. Boeing Defense India supports military and government operations throughout India through innovative and reliable service offerings, ensuring mission readiness and effectiveness for our customers. We are seeking a Business Operations Specialist to support the Business Leader and the Leadership Team in establishing an operational cadence, coordinating cross-program and cross-functional activities and lead business performance monitoring and reporting. Position Responsibilities: Lead planning, commitment, and control of resource deployment to satisfy customer, program and enterprise business requirements. Support development, integration and implementation of new or revised programs, strategies and processes; ensure alignment of business goals and enterprise standards. Monitor progress of Business Process Improvement, Capability Development & Indigenization initiatives and authorize changes to work statements using the formal change management system and ensure traceability of approvals. Develop and maintain control systems and program status reporting to track program and customer commitments, supplier obligations and compliance to plan. Interface with executives and management across multiple occupations and organizations to provide leadership, coordinate actions and communicate program status. Support preparation of business cases: collect and analyze data, document cost imperatives, quantify impacts, and identify risk/opportunity potential. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to validate analysis, define scope, and align commitments to long-range business planning and objectives. Track program risks and opportunities; monitor mitigations and contingency plans; refine business cases and present to leadership for approval. Maintain program data in the established management system, conduct regular status updates, and ensure follow-up actions for issue resolution. Ensure compliance with enterprise policies, contractual commitments and applicable regulations. Mentor and provide guidance to junior planners or coordinators as applicable. Key Deliverables Up-to-date program status and commitment tracking for assigned programs. Approved business cases and documented authorization of changes to work statements. Risk registers and mitigation plans with assigned owners and follow-up actions. Clear, concise executive reports and presentations summarizing program health, schedule, cost and risks. Implemented or improved control systems and processes supporting program compliance. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor’s degree or higher is required as BASIC QUALIFICATION in either Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, Supply Chain, Program Management or related field. 7+ years of experience in program planning, resource management, program control, or similar roles supporting large, complex programs. Demonstrated experience with change control systems and formal authorization processes for work statements. Strong experience in developing business cases, sourcing strategies, deployment analysis and mitigation planning. Proven ability to interface with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, and to influence decision-making. Excellent analytical skills and proficiency with program management tools and data systems (e.g., MS Excel, MS Project, P6, ERP, or equivalent). Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparing executive-level briefings. Ability to travel regionally and internationally
