Join us in building the tomorrow we envision, The Group The CAD Group, in Samsung Israel R&D Center, is responsible for the definition and implantation of the development environments, methodologies and flows, for the Digital and Analog teams. What will you do? Responsible for the integration of the various EDA tools to the working flow of the design teams. Responsible for the knowledge and methodology sharing between the local development team and Samsung HQ. Responsible for the resource management (Computing and Licensing) for the entire design teams. Responsible for developing flows and methodologies based on AI technologies. Requirements BSc./ MSc in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science 5+ years of work experience as a CAD engineer Programming Proficiency: Excellent skills in Perl, Python, Shell, SKILL, TCL. Experience in development, maintenance and support of CAD environments. Experience with EDA vendors tools and methodologies. Proficiency with Unix-based environments, Shell Scripting and automation. Experience with revision control systems and data management – Perforce/ICManage Advantage Experience with Loading Sharing Facility (LSF) - Advantage Strong communication and collaboration skills Team player, positive, driven and fast learner Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Advantages: Familiar with Analog flows and tools.

Responsibilities

The CAD Engineer will be responsible for integrating various EDA tools into the design teams' workflows and managing resources for the entire design teams. Additionally, the role involves sharing knowledge and methodologies between the local development team and Samsung HQ.
