JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a talented and creative Cake Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for decorating, with the ability to create visually stunning cakes that delight our customers. This role requires a keen eye for detail, artistic flair, and a solid understanding of food safety and preparation techniques.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience in food production or preparation is ideal.
• Strong culinary skills with a focus cake decorating.
• Demonstrated kitchen experience in a professional setting, preferably within a bakery or restaurant environment.
• Knowledge of food safety practices to ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining high standards of quality.
• A creative mindset with the ability to bring innovative ideas to cake designs.

Work Location: In perso

• Design and decorate cakes according to customer specifications and seasonal themes.
• Utilise various decorating techniques, including piping to enhance cake presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely production and delivery of cakes for events and special occasions.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of decorating supplies and ingredients.
