YOU’LL NEED

· 12+ months in professional dog care (daycare/kennel/rescue/training centre/vet)
· Low‑stress, reward‑based group handling; strong body‑language reading
· Clear, calm communication; decisive under pressure
· Comfortable with basic booking tools when needed; keyholder reliability
· Physically active work indoors/outdoors in all weathers

ABOUT THE ROLE

Canine‑care‑first position in our luxury, unkennelled daycare. You’ll keep mixed‑breed groups calm and safe, deliver enrichment, maintain welfare/hygiene, communicate with owners, and keep simple records. Reception support is occasional; on rare occasions you may provide routine cover following checklists, with an on‑call manager for anything complex.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Supervise and rotate playgroups; intervene early to prevent scuffles
· Run enrichment (confidence games, scent work, calm‑down routines)
· Feed/medicate accurately; carry out welfare checks and notes
· Clean/disinfect to high standards; keep play areas tidy
· Maintain basic records: booking notes, daily reports, incident/near‑miss logs
· Reception support as needed (check‑in/out, phones, simple bookings)
