This is a great opportunity to work closely with board certified physicians who have a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and providing innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases. Position Details: Full time – 40 hours per week 100%25 Hospital based working with the structural heart team Electronic Medical Records Assessing patient’s needs and establishing plan of care Pre-Post Op Consultation and Care Nuclear, Stress Tests, Echocardiogram all on site Take pride in offering a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies Competitive Salary, plus comprehensive benefits package including CME Malpractice and 401K Requirements Needed to Apply: Active Texas license Acute Care/Adult Care Board Certification and Experience Degree in NP studies from an approved Nurse Practitioner program 1-3 years of Cardiology experience required The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas. Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas. The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only

Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner will assess patients' needs and establish a plan of care, providing pre- and post-operative consultation and care. They will work closely with a team of cardiologists to offer innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
