This is a great opportunity to work closely with board certified physicians who have a reputation for excellence in diagnosing and providing innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases. Position Details: Full time – 40 hours per week Outpatient clinical management of cardiology patients with limited inpatient rounding Electronic Medical Records New patients, follow up and acute care visits Nuclear, Stress Tests, Echocardiogram all on site Take pride in offering a multidimensional approach to cardiac and peripheral vascular therapies Competitive Salary, plus comprehensive benefits package including CME Malpractice and 401K Requirements Needed to Apply: Active Texas license Acute Care/Adult Care Board Certification and Experience Degree in NP studies from an approved Nurse Practitioner program 1-3 years of Cardiology experience required Bilingual Korean speaking preferred The Nurse Practitioner (“NP”) Must be a graduate of an accredited Advanced Nursing Program and have a current RN license for the State of Texas. Certified Advanced Nurse Practitioner in the State of Texas. The NP will report to the supervising physician and/or the Medical Director and will be responsible for meeting CME requirements to maintain certification and licensure. The NP’s duties and responsibilities apply to the THPG patient population and assigned setting only
Responsibilities
The Nurse Practitioner will manage outpatient clinical care for cardiology patients and perform limited inpatient rounding. They will work closely with board-certified physicians to provide innovative treatments for cardiovascular diseases.
