JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating dump trucks and other heavy equipment on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, safety protocols, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Dump Truck Driver will be responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with dump trucks.
• Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
• Previous experience working on construction sites is preferred.
• Ability to operate excavators, dozers, backhoes, and other heavy equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various weather conditions.

  Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Experience:

• Operating a Dump Truck or Rolloff : 3 years (Required)
• Commercial driving: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and asphalt.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
• Collaborate with construction site personnel to determine material needs and delivery schedules.
• Load and unload materials using heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, backhoes, and dozers.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including quantities transported and job site conditions.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while operating heavy machinery.
