The White Hart at Fyfield is a beautiful independent restaurant, in the village of Fyfield (10 minutes from Oxford). This stunning country restaurant is listed in the Michelin Guide, Good Food Guide, holds 2 AA rosettes for culinary excellence and has won numerous awards, including Best Restaurant at the National Food Awards AND The One to Watch for the Estrella Top 50! It has a strong local customer base but also draws customers from much further afield as a destination restaurant.
We are passionate about the quality and provenance of our food. Our menu is Modern British and changes daily depending on what is fresh, seasonal and from the restaurant’s kitchen garden. Produce is of the highest quality, sourced mainly from local farms and suppliers, including foraging locally for seasonal produce. Everything is made fresh on the premises, including bread, pasta and ice creams.
We also place great importance on the quality of our team. We are a work family, we take care of one another and it is only working together that we achieve such success.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a chef de partie to work in our award-winning restaurant. Your role would be key and would involve running a section, menu planning, innovation, the creating of new dishes, as well as food preparation, cleaning and conforming to health and safety protocols.
This is an exciting opportunity for a professional, hardworking and ambitious chef to gain experience and progress. A passion for fresh food, local produce and quality is essential. So is a great personality and the ability to keep calm and work well under pressure and as part of a friendly happy team.
Rota is 4.5 days per week - which usually involves 3 evenings and 5 day times.
Live in accommodation available.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
