Job Description
The Oyster Bar Group is seeking experienced chef’s to add to our kitchen team.
We are looking to hire someone who enjoys working in a busy fast paced environment, who has a great work ethic and a love of local products
All applicants should be highly driven and motivated and have the desire and passion for delivering a quality product.
You must possess strong organizational skill and be 100% customer focused.
You must be able to work as part of a team but also be able to work independently to uphold high standards in the kitchen.
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role, ability to coordinate a busy kitchen, organize functions, stock rotation and control, manage wastage, work under pressure in a fast paced kitchen and do it all with a positive and enthusiastic approach.

Job Duties:

  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

The main things that you would be doing include:

  • Food preparation, cooking, plating, presentation in general day to day service
  • Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
  • Waste reduction and monitoring
  • Assisting other chefs and head chef working together as a team
