The Arsonist is an award-winning open fire kitchen in Manly on Brisbane’s bayside. It boats an extensive and interesting wine list, as well as a 100+ whiskey menu. It has a small team of professionals whose passion for food and beverage surpasses many teams in the area, and indeed, in Brisbane. The venue operates dinner Wednesday to Sunday, and lunch Friday to Sunday.

A rare career opportunity exists for an experienced chef who has worked in high-end restaurants previously and has a passion for creating exceptional culinary experiences.

We have one full-time position available. The successful candidate will demonstrate:

• First-rate food and wine knowledge
• Specialized cooking skills and creativity
• Team supervision and mentorship experience
• A high understanding of budget and cost management
• High standards of consistency in quality and plating
• Experience with compliance and risk management procedures
• Well-developed organizational and time management skills.
