We are an established business along the Geelong Waterfront looking for dynamic and creative people to join our family at Sailors’ Rest.

We are looking for:

  • Certificate 3 in commercial cookery but chefs of all levels and experience will be considered
  • Fast paced decision making and strong work ethic
  • Multitasking
  • Creativity
  • Well rounded experience in larder, pans and grill sections
  • Valid Visa and working rights (where applicable)
  • Australian based candidates

  • We are offering Full-time roles, based on the candidates skill level and work/life requirements with remuneration ranging between $68k-$85k. Rate is negotiable based on previous experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with the head and sous chef
  • Day to day kitchen cleaning and OHS compliance
  • Dish up high quality meals in a fast paced environment

At least three years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualifications.
In some instances, relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification.
