ABOUT THE ROLE

We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Cleaning Supervisor to oversee the afternoon cleaning operations at a well-regarded educational site in Croydon. This role is ideal for someone who values work-life balance, with consistent afternoon hours that allow for flexibility in your mornings.
You will be responsible for supervising a team of cleaning operatives, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained throughout the site, and managing supplies and schedules effectively.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise and support a team of cleaning staff during the afternoon shift
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard, following site-specific requirements
  • Conduct regular inspections and address any issues promptly
  • Monitor stock levels of cleaning supplies and place orders as required
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and COSHH guidelines
  • Provide on-site training and guidance to new and existing staff
  • Liaise with site management and report any concerns or incidents
