Job Overview: We are seeking skilled Concrete Finishers to join our team.
As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for creating smooth and durable concrete surfaces for various construction projects. around the South Wales area.
This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities: - Prepare concrete surfaces by cleaning, levelling, and floating.
Assist in setting up shutters etc and ensure they are properly aligned - Pour concrete and use tools to spread and level. - Apply finishing techniques such as trowelling, edging, brush finishing. & “big blue” float finish.
Create decorative patterns or textures on the surface of the concrete - Monitor the curing process and apply sealants or coatings as needed -
Repair damaged or deteriorating concrete structures
Skills: - Experience working with concrete in a construction setting -
Knowledge of different types of concrete finishes and techniques -
Ability to operate power tools such as concrete saws, grinders, and vibrators -
Proficiency in using hand tools like trowels, floats, and brushes -
Understanding of basic masonry principles and techniques -
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working in demanding conditions - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues -
Ability understand & follow instructions accurately -
Own transport is required , as you will need to move from site to site as needed.
