Greenstep serves a very large number of growth companies of various sizes as a trusted advisor, and our customers often turn to us for an advice on what IT systems to choose and how to build a sensible and future proof systems architecture.
We are looking for an experienced architecture consultant to join our CIO services practice to do exactly this: advise and support in various system selection and implementation projects. In this role you need to be able to understand the business needs and translate them into system and architecture requirements, also including process, data and infrastructure, and advise typically customer top executives in making the right choices and in how to get things successfully implemented.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take part in and lead customer projects that are related to architecture, system selection and implementation.
• Consult with customer management with perspectives and give advice related to topics above.
• Possibly contribute similarly to Greenstep’s internal technology.

YOU ARE IN A PIVOTAL ROLE ENABLING THE SUCCESS OF OUR CUSTOMERS, AND THEREFORE WE EXPECT:

• Significant and wide experience from IT system development and architecture with a consulting background.
• Wide understanding of the modern systems landscape optimal for mid-size and growth companies.
• Ability to define technology and data requirements based on business needs and priorities through discussions with C-level executives.
• You also need to know how things get implemented. Just drawing architecture diagrams will not bring success - even though they may often be needed!
• Working proficiency in Finnish and in English.
  We believe practical understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, process modelling or other such tools is helpful, but we of course expect you to bring your own tools and expertise to impact how things should be done.
