The Boeing Global Services (BGS) Transactional Contracts and Pricing team has an opening for a Experienced Contracts and Pricing Representative in Hazelwood, Missouri to support United States Government (USG) programs.
The USG position would support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) customer across aircraft programs such as Apache, F/A-18, F-15, KC-135, B-52 and B-1 which have complex proposal and execution challenges. The selected individual will support proposal, negotiation, and contract review and execution processes.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Currently have a Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience in Contracts, Estimating, Supplier Management, and/or Finance
  • 1+ year of experience with the Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLookups, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
  • Experience communicating to employees, customers, peers and multiple levels of leadership
  • Experience working with analytics, data and spreadsheets to build presentations and make recommendations

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):

  • Experience building, developing and maintaining customer relationships
  • 1+ years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts

EDUCATION

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Required

Responsibilities
  • Exercises appropriate signature authority, proposes and negotiates agreements utilizing approved contract terms and conditions
  • Researches, drafts and makes recommendations on proposal and contractual language supporting the product or service, delivery processes and conducts document reviews
  • Develops, documents and executes complex business plans through the analysis of contractual data
  • Performs due diligence and integration of newly acquired entities to ensure implementation of contracting policies and practices
  • Supports auditor requests and provides interpretation of findings, identifies data for audit activities and identifies issues, develops corrective actions and implements solutions
  • Assesses process risks and control adequacy
  • Maintains business processes and data integrity
  • Supports development and documents guidance related to new and updated contractual regulatory requirements and command media
  • Monitors/reconciles and ensures compliance in the performance of contractual and business commitments, company policies, laws and regulations
  • Coordinates special requests for approval and exception, interprets contractual letters, provides contract performance status and performs contract closeout activities
  • Coordinates and partners with other internal functional disciplines
  • Supports contracts administration
