POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are looking for experienced cooks/chefs to ensure the efficient and effective operation of our culinary department. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, confidence, and a proven track record of turning out quality food, consistently in a high-volume kitchen.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proven experience as a Cook or Chef
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff to achieve excellence.
  • In-depth knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for culinary excellence.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Culinary degree or certification is a plus
    Job Type: Full-time
    Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

  • Train and mentor kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, food safety practices, and sanitation procedures.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and update menus, taking into account seasonal ingredients, customer preferences, and culinary trends.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Handle customer inquiries and concerns related to food quality and service, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
