Coogee Continental Deli is a busy, traditional European style Continental Deli and Coffee Bar.
This position is a customer facing cooking job, this position is responsible for Cooking food and serving Deli customers when required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:
§ Minimum 3 years of industry relevant experience
§ Has excellent kitchen knowledge along with great knife skills
§ Excellent communication and organization skills
§ Able to work on your feet, in a fast-paced environment, whist maintaining a high level of professionalism
§ Ability to work unsupervised, with a tight knit team
§ Must be able to lift 15+ kilos on a regular basis
§ Be honest, punctual, professional and adaptable to a growing and changing business
This is casual position, with the possibility of becoming permanent part time role with 3-4 shifts / approx. 20 hours per week, with one weekend shift a must.
More hours available for candidates that are willing do other roles and be adaptable in the workplace. Coogee Continental operates 7 days per week, the successful applicate will be required to work early start day shifts, with possible evenings, weekends and public holidays.
The applicant must reside in Australia and have the correct working visa (if necessary) to work in Australia.
Job Type: Casual
Pay: $33.20 – $66.38 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

§ Preparing short order menu items efficiently and effectively
§ Producing our core range of Grab & Go meals, as per cooking schedule
§ Working in line with company recipes efficiently and effectively
§ Clean, prepare, and organize ingredients as required
§ Craft out unique product, Fritule - European Donut balls, in line with family recipe
§ Assist with food safety and temperature processes and procedures
§ Ensure appealing product / packaging presentation and display
§ Ensure food safety handing policies are followed at all times
§ Understand and preform food product labeling, including ingredient listings
§ Understand and employ a high standard of food safety hygiene practices
§ Ensuring workspace cleanliness is at the highest standard
§ Be willing to and able to assist other team members when required
§ Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
