Description To demonstrate genuine hospitality and deliver exceptional customer service in the bar area, by consistently mixing, garnishing, and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company specifications for guests at the bar and in the restaurant. Essential Functions Maintain complete knowledge of BOCA food and beverage preparation, menu, and specials. Take orders for alcoholic (age 21 and over) and non-alcoholic beverages and food items. Prepare orders for alcoholic (age 21 and over) and non-alcoholic beverages. Able to use a computer to ring orders into a POS Refill drinks as requested by customers. Able to accept different types of payment and make change. Able to interact with customers, management, and co-workers in a friendly/fast manner Check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages. Refuse to serve beverages in a polite manner to guests who are not of legal age and notify manager Helping customers be aware of and choose menu items, suggestively sell food and beverage items, taking orders, and making customers feel taken care of during their visit Keeping the bar stocked (beer, wine, and liquor) and clean while always providing friendly and attentive service Maintain a clean workstation Report to work in a neat and clean uniform. Well-groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential. Maintain adherence to all Company policies and procedures. Other duties as directed by management. Report to required meetings.
