About the role:
Fruitique in Essendon are looking for a passionate and skilled Deli Assistant to join our team! If you enjoy working with fresh produce, making delicious paninis, and providing 5 star customer service, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assisting customers with their deli orders and offering expert recommendations
• Preparing fresh paninis
• Ensuring the deli counter is well-stocked, clean, and visually appealing at all times
• Following food safety and hygiene regulations
• Collaborating with a friendly team to create an excellent shopping experience
• Handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system

What we’re looking for:

• Minimum 2 years of deli experience preferred
• A passion for food and excellent customer service
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Must be available to work weekends
• An eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently
• A positive, friendly attitude and a love for working with people

Pay: $24.95 – $30.00 per hour
