Description Senior Dental Assistant – General Dentistry Cambridge General Group | Dearborn Heights, MI Cambridge General Group is a modern, patient-focused general dentistry practice located in Dearborn Heights, Michigan, working alongside and next door to our affiliated multi-specialty clinic, Wave Dental Specialists. We are seeking a seasoned, senior-level Dental Assistant with 3–5+ years of experience who thrives in a fast-paced general dentistry environment. This role is ideal for an experienced Dental Assistant who is confident chairside, enjoys mentoring others, and wants long-term stability with growth potential across general and specialty dentistry. Position Overview As a Senior Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the General Dentist while collaborating with the neighboring multi-specialty team as needed. You will play a key role in clinical excellence, patient flow, and team support. Key Responsibilities Assist the General Dentist with a full scope of general dentistry procedures Serve as a senior-level clinical support and resource for the team Maintain efficient room turnover and clinical workflows Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols Deliver exceptional patient care and education Coordinate seamlessly with the adjacent multi-specialty office when needed What We’re Looking For 3–5+ years of dental assisting experience in general dentistry Lead-level or senior DA experience strongly preferred Confident, efficient chairside skills Strong communication and leadership abilities Team-oriented, reliable, and professional Experience with Open Dental, CBCT, and iTero preferred Comfortable working in a modern, technology-driven practice Technology & Systems Open Dental CBCT imaging iTero scanner State-of-the-art dental technology Schedule (a combination of these hours equal to approx. 40 hours per week) Monday & Wednesday: 8:00 AM – 7:00 PM Tuesday & Thursday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Saturdays: 2 Saturdays per month REQUIRED, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM Weekday off provided during the week when a Saturday is worked Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation structure and a robust benefits package, including: Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance (100% employer-paid) 401(k) with employer match Paid time off Paid holidays Monthly bonus opportunities Short-term and long-term disability insurance options Supportive leadership and a strong team culture Why Cambridge General Group?
