OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist/ Admin to join our dynamic and long-term dental team! The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a blend of at least 5 years dental office experience and strong communication skills to ensure a smooth operation at the front desk. The days for the position will be an alternating Tues-Fri and then Tues-Saturday split.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in dental software Tracker is a must
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry.
  • At least five years experience in a dental office is mandatory!
  • Excellent administrative skills with experience in front desk operations.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
  • Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using our electronic medical records system.
  • Handle incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, addressing inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including updating medical history and insurance information.
  • Process payments and manage billing inquiries in accordance with office policies.
  • Assist in managing the flow of patients within the office to ensure timely appointments.
  • Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless communication regarding patient care. We are all about communication!
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk area and waiting room.
