MS Dental is a well-established Dental Practice with three locations in Cardiff, Fletcher and Singleton. One of our lovely staff are soon to be heading off on maternity leave and we are looking for an experienced team member to join our team with the possibiliy of long term employment for the right candidate.
We are looking for an experienced Dental Nurse / Receptionist who is well spoken and knowledgeable in the Dental field. Someone who is motivated to learn and expand their knowledge further to be in line with our company values. Someone with professional, yet caring phone manner, multitasking skills and confidence to speak to the patients about the treatment plans and payment options given by the Dentist. Someone who is flexible and happy to work between different locations depending on where needed and to work in both reception and assisting where ever the day takes you.
In this roll you will be required to:

Dental Assisting Duties required such as:

• Chair side assisting
• Sterilisation / processing of instruments
• Opening and closing of the surgery
• General cleaning and stocking
• Saturdays

Complete day to day reception skills such as:

• Answering multiple phone calls at one time
• Eftpos / Hicaps payment
• Booking / Confirming / Preparing for Appointments
• Payment plan paperwork
• Daily reporting to the Practice Manager
• Monthly reports
• Email monitoring
• Banking
• Recalls
• Organising External Dental Jobs
• Speaking to the patients about the treatment plans proposed by the dentist
• Preparing treatment folders with information for the patients
• Checking all consent forms and paperwork is in order
• Working with the dentist to be time efficient for each appointment
• Sending out pre appointment emails
• Preparing for Laser days and coordinating with the Lactation Consultant
• Assisting the Dentist with after Laser organisation such as notes and follow up calls
• Other duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience using D4W and confident with using the program
• Exceptional phone manner and a happy bubbly phone voice
• Minimum 2 years Dental experience
• Ability to multitask even when under extreme pressure
• Be an exceptional team member and willing to help out wherever is needed
• Be reliable and honest
• Willing to help out in all locations during staff shortages such as holidays / sick days or Dentist holiday periods
