Description Experienced Diesel Technician/Fleet Mechanic Mon-Fri: Day Shift Our team is currently looking for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our growing team! We would like to talk with YOU! What are the duties of the job? ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: Other duties as assigned. Use of smartphone, laptop and tablet technology to record all repairs Diagnose, repair and maintains customer vehicles and mechanical equipment. May potentially include Mobile Service Perform PMI's on tractors, trailers and other diesel-powered equipment. Perform all types of engine, brake, drive train, electrical, and A/C repairs. Test drive vehicles under 26,000 GVW and over 26,000 with CDL license. Would be working onsite at customer’s location servicing customer’s fleet Must be able to work independently Standard tech owned tools are required. Major shop tools and diagnostic equipment is provided PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. The associate must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety legislations, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 5+ year's experience required. Preferred certificate or degree from college or technical school Detroit Diesel or Allison Transmission experience a HUGE plus CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS ASE Certification in PMI & Brakes a plus Valid driver's license CDL license a plus Must be able to obtain DOT Med Card Why should you apply?
