Second shift positions include an 8% shift differential. Offering second shift employees a 4-day work week (4 10 hour days) Mobile and In-shop opportunities Allison Transmission technician if you possess Allison experience. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Must perform thorough and detailed PM services and inspections. Must be able to perform troubleshooting and diagnostics including the ability and experience using multiple diagnostics software platforms – this includes check engine lights, abs lights. Familiarity and experience with bumper-to-bumper repairs including HVAC; brake foundation including ABS; drivetrain including driveshafts and rear ends; electrical repair; lighting repairs. Must be detail oriented with repair narrative and paperwork completion. Must be able to work independently; possess strong leadership skills; and excellent customer service and communication skills. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Valid driver’s license with good record CDL a plus ASE certification a plus OE training/certifications a plus Industry experience of 3 years or more preferred PHYSICAL and SAFETY REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs with assistance. Must be able to read and write reports. Implement and enforce Health and Safety rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and prescribed instructions. Must have a valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the last 3 years. No drug or alcohol-related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years (ie., DUI/DWI).
