About the Role As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will provide person-centered care and support to individuals in their homes and in the community. You’ll assist with daily living activities, implement individualized goals, and foster a positive, inclusive environment that encourages growth and independence. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others, enjoys being active in the community, and is looking for a meaningful, hands-on position with real impact. Key Responsibilities Care and Support Assist clients with daily tasks such as hygiene, meals, and light housekeeping while encouraging independence Implement goals outlined in the Individual Support Plan (ISP) Foster healthy routines and support client development in line with their abilities and interests Community Engagement Accompany clients on outings, appointments, or errands Promote social inclusion by encouraging community interaction and positive relationships Provide safe and reliable transportation using your own vehicle Safety and Communication Ensure safety in both home and community settings Respond calmly and effectively in challenging situations, including medical or behavioral emergencies Maintain regular communication with the administrative team Accurately complete all required documentation and reporting Physical Requirements Ability to assist with lifting, bending, walking, and other physical aspects of caregiving Capable of handling behavioral challenges and supporting individuals with higher needs What We're Looking For Minimum Qualifications Must be at least 18 years old Prior experience as a DSP or in a similar caregiving/support role Comfortable supporting individuals with high behavioral needs Available to work weekends (required) Own reliable transportation for use in transporting clients Valid Driver’s License and current auto insurance (minimum 100k/300k liability coverage) Smartphone with internet access for documentation Ability to pass a DHS criminal background check Preferred Skills Compassionate and reliable with strong interpersonal skills Detail-oriented and able to follow instructions precisely Comfortable working independently and as part of a team Ability to build positive relationships with clients, families, and coworkers What We Offer $22-$24.50 hourly pay (based on client care needs) $300 sign-on bonus 401(k) retirement plan Referral bonuses Paid Time Off and Paid Training Mileage reimbursement when transporting clients Free company events!
