Do you thrive on multi-tasking? Love the trucking industry? We are looking for a Dispatcher to play an important role in Driver Support, Customer Relations, all the organizational tasks that a good dispatcher must accomplish.

SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Strong communication skill and interpersonal skills with ability to maintain composure under stressful situations. Motivate and direct drivers in a positive and professional manner
• Proficient computer skills & Microsoft Office
• Strong attention to detail
• Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act, load security and regulations.
• Knowledge in current “hours of services” laws
• Knowledge of Loadlink
• Strong organizational, planning and strategic execution skills
• Talent for securing new business
• An ability to solve problems
• Strong knowledge of different types of trucks and trailers

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Highschool diploma or equivalent

- 3 YEARS PRIOR FLATBED AND CROSS-BORDER DISPATCHING EXPERIENCE A MUST

• TMW Truckmate experience a plus

• Build and retain relationships with customers
• Coordinate, schedule and assign drivers and trucks based on customer requirements and to fully utilize and move equipment efficiently
• Ability to communicate over the phone
• Proficiency with Microsoft applications (Word, Excel), Google Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets), and Adobe Acrobat.
• Tracking and communicating delivery information to customers
• Input of daily data entry into TMW Truckmate dispatch program
• Assist with customs preparation (ACE & ACI) when needed
• Provide updates as they occur to the operations team and customers on significant issues
• Maintain solid understanding of market conditions
• Provide occasional support to customers and drivers after hours/weekends when needed
