ELECTRICAL ESTIMATOR VACANCY (NO LABOUR AGENCIES)

We are seeking an Experienced Electrical Estimator to join our team based in Glenfield, Leicester. This will be on a full-time, permanent basis with further training and development provided including WMEE systems and processes.
The appointed candidate will be costing and preparing bids on a range of D&B Electrical works from £50k up to and beyond £15M, primarily working on CAT A and CAT B works in the UK for the tier 1 contractors.
The Estimator will be working amongst a experienced team and will have the option to work from either the office with occasional site visits and some flexible working.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that has been established for almost 100 years and has a strong pipeline of work in place.

ESTIMATOR POSITION OVERVIEW

Pricing a range of commercial D&B electrical works up to £15M in value
· Tender document review and analysis including raising of RFI’s with the client
· Respond to supply chain correspondence and enquiries
· Vetting incoming tenders/offers from the supply chain and ensuring that the most viable offer is included within the company’s submission
· Attendance in handover of projects to the operations team
· Primarily in the industrial and residential sector
· Engage in value engineering processes to optimise project costs without compromising quality and functionality
· Prior experience as an Electrical Estimator
· Good stakeholder management skills
· Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay: £40,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
