JOB OVERVIEW

Navitas Solar Installations Ltd is a leading provider of renewable energy solutions across the UK. We specialise in high-quality solar PV installations for residential, commercial, and industrial clients. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a skilled and motivated electrician ideally with proven solar PV experience (but this is not essential) to join our team.
As an experienced electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems. You’ll work closely with our project managers and installation teams to ensure all electrical work is completed to the highest standards and in compliance with current regulations.

EXPERIENCE

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent
  • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent (Inspection & Testing)
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)
  • ECS/CSCS card
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues effectively and efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities
  • Install and commission solar PV systems (AC and DC side)
  • Carry out electrical wiring, testing, and fault-finding
  • Ensure compliance with BS7671 and MCS standards
  • Liaise with clients and team members on-site
  • Complete relevant documentation (EIC, test certificates, etc.)
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times while on site.
  • Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to H&S protocols
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used.
