Perfect Prose is a Sydney-based English tutoring company that specialises in preparing students for senior English (Years 10, 11 and 12). We operate completely online so you can teach from the comfort of your home.
We’re on the search for English enthusiasts who are passionate about teaching both literature and writing. Previous experience teaching senior and HSC English is essential.
If you’re a recent HSC graduate or university student, then we expect a minimum Band 6 for HSC English Advanced, or the equivalent for English Extension I or II.
If you’re a qualified teacher or someone doing a Masters or a PhD in a related field, then we’d especially love to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS:

• You’re tech-savvy enough to use Zoom and Google Docs (seriously – the bar’s pretty low on this one)
• Your own computer, headset and stable internet connection
• A willingness to learn is pretty much the be-all and end-all

• Conduct online 1-to-1 tutoring sessions with students on a weekly ongoing basis
• Use Year 10, Year 11 and HSC curriculum knowledge to deliver high-quality academic tutoring
• Prepare students for upcoming assessments and exams to improve performance
• Provide reasonable levels of feedback on students’ work outside of formal sessions
