Rogers Group is currently seeking an Equipment Operator – Crushing & Screening supporting Greer, SC (Recycle Center)This position reports to the Plant Manager. The successful candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and production excellence. Job Details: Wages start at $21.00 per hour+ depending on experience. Starting wage will be higher with verifiable experience. Fulltime/Permanent Weekend work may be required Overtime available along with extensive medical and retirement benefits Night work may be required Job Responsibilities: Operate heavy equipment including dozer, loader, and excavator in a safe and efficient manner Operate and assist with mobile crushing and screening equipment Monitor crushing and screening operations to ensure quality material production Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on crushing and screening equipment Conduct daily equipment inspections and complete required documentation Maintain proper feed to plant and manage stockpiles Assist with plant setup, tear down, and relocation as needed Promote a team atmosphere at location and across the division Follow all company safety policies and MSHA regulations May be called upon at the discretion of Managers to perform other duties Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred Valid Driver’s License with clean MVR required Prior experience operating dozer, loader, and excavator required Experience with mobile crushing and screening equipment preferred Ability to perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs Uncompromising focus on safety excellence Ability to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout the day Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Basic math and communication skills Flexible schedule (split shifts/possible Saturday shifts) Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work on a team Self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision Operate equipment and company vehicles in a responsible and safe manner Perform daily housekeeping operations and maintain a clean and organized work environment As a Rogers Group employee, you will have access to our competitive company perks, including: Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance plus Health Savings Account with annual company contribution Company provided Group Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance Retirement 401(k) with company contribution and match at one year of service Company provided Short- and Long-Term Disability Paid Holiday’s including Christmas shutdown between Christmas and New Year’s Day Paid vacation available after 180-day probationary period and accrued based on years of service Annual performance-based merit increases Career growth/advancement opportunities RGI EEO Statement It is the policy of Rogers Group, Inc. to recruit, hire, and promote individuals based on demonstrated merit and qualifications.
