JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled Excavator Operator to join one of our pipe crews on various construction job sites. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating heavy machinery, specifically excavators. This role requires a strong understanding of construction site operations, capable of digging/backfilling ditches safely and efficiently, read and understanding plans, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

SKILLS

• Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation.
• Proven experience in commercial driving with valid licenses for operating heavy machinery.
• Proficiency in operating excavators.
• Previous construction site experience is essential for understanding site dynamics and safety practices.
• Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while communicating clearly with colleagues.
