State Fire is currently looking for a full-time Fire Sprinkler Foreman in Salt Lake City, UT. Ideal candidates have 3-5 years experience as a fire sprinkler foreman. Your role as a Fire Sprinkler Foreman will include the following responsibilities: Lead installer for commercial contract work. Install various types of sprinkler systems, including wet pipe, dry pipe, pre-action, and deluge systems. This involves reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications to ensure the system is installed correctly. Regional travel may be required. 8, 10 or 12 hour shifts, Monday – Friday. Requirements Qualifications: · 3+ years fire sprinkler foreman experience. · Possess any applicable state licensing. · Knowledge of fire and building codes, OSHA, and other regulations pertaining to the job. MSHA preferred. · Basic computer and software skills. · Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license, with acceptable driving record. · Must have and maintain an acceptable national criminal background check. · Must be able to pass a pre-employment urinalysis test. · Ability to communicate effectively in English. · Ability to work flexible hours and on-call, when necessary. Physical Requirements: · Ability to sit, stand, kneel, crouch or stoop for prolonged periods. · Ability to operate a motor vehicle. · Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding and stairs. · Ability to move about in areas with limited space and difficult access. · Ability to safely lift, transport and place objects up to 70 pounds, without assistance. · Ability to work both indoors and outdoors. · Ability to use trade-specific power tools such as hand tools, saws, pipe cutters, etc. What we can offer you: · Medical, Dental and Vision insurance options. · 401K Retirement plan with company match. · Company paid 50K life insurance. · Paid Time Off · Competitive compensation, depending on experience.
