DETAILS ABOUT OUR POSITIONS:

• Age groups and levels:We are looking for a teacher who enjoys working with kids aged 4-15 years old. Most of our classes are beginner and intermediate level French. Our ideal teacher is open to instructing a specific group or level of students, whether it’s beginners, or advanced learners (in the future).
• We are looking for teachers with a can-do attitude, high energy personality and a self-starter. Most teaching materials will be provided for you, however it is important to add your own spin and teaching skills.

REQUIREMENTS

• Certification in teaching French or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience teaching in the French language.
• Strong command of the French language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation.
• English required to communicate with parents whom may not speak French
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High energy, creativity, and a passion for teaching.
• A reliable internet connection and a quiet, well-lit teaching space for online classes.
• Experience working with children or in an educational setting
• Knowledge of learning management systems (LMS) and educational technology tools
• Ability to proofread written materials for accuracy and clarity
• Familiarity with special education practices and accommodations
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus
• Experience in tutoring or providing additional academic support is beneficial

  Note: This is a remote, part-time position, and applicants must be from the 50 United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, England, or Wales. The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with their local regulations regarding remote work and any necessary tax arrangements.

Work Location: Remot

• Conduct live, interactive French classes an online platform to students at various French language levels. Your teaching style should be engaging, encouraging student participation, and fostering a love for the French language.
• Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students
• Teach French language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing
• Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate different learning styles
• Assess student progress and provide feedback on their performance (If required by parents)
• Infuse creativity into your teaching methods, utilizing diverse resources, technology, and innovative approaches to ensure that students remain engaged and motivated to learn the French language.
• Maintain open and effective communication with parents, promptly addressing inquiries related to their children’s classes, and providing progress updates when needed.
• Prepare and post the provided learning materials at least 48 hours in advance, ensuring that they are relevant, organized, and tailored to the specific needs of the students.
• Create and collaborate on material based on our existing curriculum
