SWEETGRASS AT THUNDERBASIN | NE OF GILLETTE, WY | ON-SITE POSITION

Are you a seasoned hospitality professional with a background in fine dining and a natural talent for leading by example? Sweetgrass at Thunderbasin is seeking dedicated and experienced front-of-house crew members for our 2025 Fall season. This is a unique opportunity to live and work on a remote, upscale Western ranch for 15 weeks—immersed in nature, teamwork, and exceptional guest service.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Must be available for full season: August 21 – November 24, 2025
  • Must live on-site (housing provided gratis); RV spots with hookups available
  • Must possess valid US driver’s license and be able to qualify for insurance to drive company vehicles
  • CPR, First Aid, AED, and Food Handler certifications required (training provided or reimbursed)

Responsibilities

Our front-of-house team is the heart of the guest experience. We’re looking for candidates with at least 5 years of fine-dining experience, ideally including leadership roles in high-end hospitality settings. You should be confident in service standards, able to mentor others, and bring a calm, composed presence to every table and event. You’ll serve meals across multiple venues on the ranch—from our lodge to private outdoor setups—and ensure every guest experience is polished, professional, and personal.

Daily responsibilities include:

  • Setting and breaking down elegant dining spaces in both indoor and outdoor locations
  • Providing seamless table service with genuine and professional guest interaction
  • Maintaining the appearance and functionality of dining areas
  • Supporting hospitality teammates through example and collaboration
