OVERVIEW

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our vibrant team at Garvie & Co. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, ensuring that every guest receives exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave. EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a customer-facing or restaurant setting is essential.
  • Barista & cocktail experienced is preferred
  • As bar work is essential, this position would not suit someone under 18 years of age.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills within a dynamic team environment. Join us in creating an inviting atmosphere where guests feel valued and appreciated!
    Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
    Pay: Up to £12.21 per hour

Responsibilities
  • Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude.
  • Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all guest requests are met.
  • Provide information about menu items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
  • Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions and perform basic maths for billing purposes.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service delivery.
  • Address any guest concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
