Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced Functional Safety engineer (IEC61511), with a technical background within the instrumentation/process electrical disciplines.
You will be a part of our E&I Engineering Solutions Department, and joining a team of 38 dedicated engineers with a passion for developing instrumented process control systems in the pharma industry. As a team, we are specialized in instrumentation and electrical engineering, from idea to handover of process equipment and components.

As our new Functional Safety engineer, you will be a part of a motivated cross-functional project team, where you’ll play a key role:

  • In close cooperation with other disciplines to clarify requirements, specify, design, support tender out, supervise, test, qualify and commission instrumentation/electrical installations and solutions in accordance with IEC61511
  • Assisting in designing and developing of instrumented designs for our current & up-coming projects
  • Working with vendor and client representatives in performing various engineering activities
  • Actively participate in project teams and sharing new idea

In all positions there are some things that are needed, and others a bonus. We believe these qualifications are needed for you to do well in this role:

  • Minimum 5 years of practical working experience within Functional Safety (IEC615111) and SIS
  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering or a similar education
  • Extensive knowledge and practical experience with relevant standards and directives
  • Extensive experience in and ability to translate requirements into practical, safe solutions
  • Experience in consulting and project work
  • Experience from the process industryProficiency in both Danish and English, spoken and written
  • Added expertise in the following area would be an advantage:
  • Background in pharmaceutical areas or the oil/gas industry, and experience with working with high safety-/quality-/documentation requirement
