Description

Essential Functions

  • Models the values and guiding principles of our dealership;
  • Communicate department policies to ensure the department runs smoothly, and is profitable;
  • Oversee inventory control system to include ordering, receiving, logging, tagging, and restocking;
  • Display and promote merchandise, and coordinate with other departments, to maximize selling potential;
  • Maintain employee work schedules to ensure best coverage seasonally, for peak times, and store events;
  • Train and mentor employees to be successful through HD training programs, and performance management;
  • Coach, counsel, and conduct performance reviews for direct reports;
  • Support, promote, and get involved in the Help Sell, and Motorcycle Referral, programs;
  • Act as an ambassador to the dealership, and the Harley-Davidson brand.

Job Specifications

Physical and Mental Demands:

  • Frequently operate hand-held, point-of-sale and inventory equipment;
  • Occasionally moves around the sales floor for > 50% of shift;
  • Occasionally move or transport objects that weigh > 25lbs.

Working Conditions:

  • Occasionally exposed to loud noises, fumes, and other toxic chemicals.
