About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Finish Grade Operator with hands-on experience operating CAT 259 Skidsteers and CAT 300 series Excavators. The ideal candidate is proficient in fine grading, utility trenching, and ready to pitch in wherever needed to get the job done safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

Operate heavy machinery including:

• CAT 259 Skidsteers
• CAT 300 series Excavators
• Compactors, front-end loaders, and related equipment
• Perform fine grading, backfilling, and site preparation (e.g., building pads)
• Load dump trucks with various materials in a safe, controlled manner
• Safely trench near existing underground utilities
• Adapt to local soil conditions (muck, sand, coral rock, etc.)
• Transport required tools to and from job sites daily
• Assist ground crew as needed (shovel work, broom cleanup, compactor/street saw operation)
• Perform general tasks in our yard when needed

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience with heavy construction equipment
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation
• Strong awareness of job site safety and machinery limits
• Willingness to work as ground crew when necessary
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of local construction site conditions in South Florida preferred
