A well-established equipment service provider in Brampton, ON, is hiring an Experienced Heavy Equipment Service Technician to repair and maintain snow removal equipment. QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years’ experience servicing heavy trucks or heavy equipment.
  • Skilled in hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and lighting systems.
  • Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics.
  • 310T, 421A, or 425A certification strongly preferred but not required.
  • Valid G-class driver’s license considered an asset.
  • Mobile Handling Equipment certification preferred.
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.

    PJ1 Compensation:

  • $40.00 – $45.00 per hour to start, based on experience, certifications, and training.

  • Company-provided tools and a fully equipped take-home service truck.

Shifts:

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair hydraulic, mechanical, electrical, and control systems on mobile equipment.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance in-shop and at customer sites.
  • Conduct inspections, calibrations, and functional tests before releasing equipment.
  • Respond to urgent service calls, including potential seasonal overtime.
  • Communicate findings, service recommendations, and solutions to customers.
  • Document repairs, labor hours, and parts used in internal systems.
  • Support warranty claims with detailed reports, root cause analysis, and photographic evidence.
  • Identify and report recurring equipment or field issues to internal teams.
