About the Opportunity

• Do you enjoy a challenge and have experience providing support to individuals with complex health needs?
• Are you interested in shift work and willing to travel to client’s location?

If this is you, BCS is seeking to employ experienced High Intensity Support Workers. We have several positions available for immediate start. Positions are permanent casual for 20 hours per fortnight – hours can be increased for the right candidate – (Mon-Friday 8:30pm-10:30pm). Ideally suited for someone that lives in Western Sydney (Bossley Park). The role is covered by the SCHCADS Award Level according to experience and qualifications (Minimum level 3.1 $33.96 per hour).

The job will entail:

• Be willing to providing personal care, living skills, transport, other services and support.
• Carefully manage medications and complex care needs
• Offer specialised support for high intensity needs
• Keep diligent notes and records and follow care plans to ensure optimal support.

The successful applicant will have:

• Must be certified: Certificate III or higher in relevant field
• First Aid Qualification – current within 3 years
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certificate – Current within 12 months
• NSW Full Driver’s Licence and access to own insured vehicle
• Provide or willing to obtain necessary checks: Criminal Record Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check, and clearance for working with Children.
• Experience with bowel care
• Must be an Australian citizen/Permanent Resident or have the legal right to work in Australia.
