Description Charlotte Mechanical is seeking a skilled and experienced HVAC Installer to join our Residential (Consumer) Division. This role is responsible for installing HVAC systems and components in residential settings while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Install residential HVAC systems, including: Air handlers Flex duct systems Ceiling registers Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures related to heating, water, and drainage systems Work on ladders up to 6 feet in height Ensure all installations meet company standards and local codes Maintain a clean and safe work environment Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments Requirements Qualifications & Competencies To perform this job successfully, the ideal candidate should demonstrate: Job Knowledge: Strong understanding of HVAC installation practices; ability to learn and apply new skills with minimal supervision Problem Solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently Teamwork & Cooperation: Works well with others and supports team efforts Communication: Good listening skills and clear communication with team members and supervisors Adaptability: Able to handle changing job conditions, schedules, and priorities Dependability: Follows instructions, meets deadlines, and takes ownership of work Planning & Organization: Uses time effectively and manages tasks efficiently Quality & Productivity: Produces accurate, thorough work while meeting productivity standards Safety Awareness: Follows all safety procedures and reports unsafe conditions Physical Requirements Regularly required to stand and walk Frequently required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds Comfortable working on ladders and at heights Work Environment Exposure to: Outdoor weather conditions Wet and humid environments Moving mechanical parts Elevated or precarious work areas Requirements Must pass a drug screening Must pass a criminal background check Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Compensation & Benefits Paid Overtime Vacation Pay Holiday Pay Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Plan
