Description Job Summary: The HVAC Lead Installation Technician will install heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. The Lead Installation Technician is responsible for ensuring the project runs efficiently, and up to Beantown's standards while maintaining the highest level of customer service. Supervisory Responsibilities: The Lead Installation Technician will guide apprentices to grow their skillset. Duties/Responsibilities: Installs new HVAC units in residential or commercial. Installs ductwork and thermostats to control HVAC system. Complies with company and industry safety standards. Performs other related duties as assigned. Requirements Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Knowledge of HVAC systems and equipment. Ability to use power and hand tools. Ability to use thermometers, pressure gauges, and other testing devices. Ability to read operation and repair manuals for HVAC systems. Ability to follow instructions. Excellent mechanical skills. Excellent communication skills, as required to interact with customer. Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required. Three years of related experience required. Must have a valid Driver's License. Physical Requirements: Physically able to work on HVAC units. Will be required to work in settings with extreme cold or extreme heat, depending on time of year. Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, crawling, or climbing ladders. Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
