Description We are seeking an experienced IDG/CSD Technician & Tester. The CSD/IDG Technician is responsible for the disassembly, inspect, repair, and overhaul, modifications and reassembly of CSD components. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in a 145 Repair Station environment and will interpret technical documents to carry out precise component work. Essential Duties: Perform work assignments as determined by the shop management. Ensures that all work is performed in accordance with approved technical data, to customer supplications and regulatory requirements. Uses appropriate inspection techniques, and calibrated equipment for the unit/part being accomplished. Records information and accomplishes the work assignment in compliance with the Inspection Procedures Manual and Quality Policies and Procedures. Provide timely quotes of units. Maintain personal and shop calibrated tools is satisfactory operational condition. Ability to read and interpret schematics and drawings. Requirements Basic Qualifications Must be able to work as a team member and possess good inter-personal skills. Must have a good understanding of aviation related Fuel and methods and processes Working knowledge of Federal Aircraft Regulations (FAR). Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, Standard Repair Manuals (SRM), & component maintenance manuals (CMM). Work overtime as required by production requirements. Qualifications and Requirements: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and Experience Requirements: Must read and write the English language. 1 year Minimum Experience in Aerospace industry with mechanical aptitude required. Ability to troubleshoot most if not all problems in our processes and equipment. Flexibility to work beyond 40 hours/week as required. Represents strong familiarity to MRO production processes.
