EXPERIENCED IMMIGRATION CASEWORKER

Work for a ranked Legal 500 Solicitor in the City of London at OTS Solicitors.
Location: Hybrid Working / City of London.
Salary: Competitive + Very Generous Bonus Schemes both Weekly and Monthly [salary subject to seniority, experience and knowledge]

The firm has a strict policy of hiring the sharpest legal talent, the solicitors and senior caseworkers are intelligent, knowledgeable, commercially astute, and creative thinkers. With a team of passionate lawyers, trainees and Legal Services Officers, the firm is regularly called on by domestic and foreign media to provide opinions on a wide range of immigration matters.
Due to further recent growth and expansion nationally, the firm is now seeking an experienced Senior Immigration Caseworker or Solicitor with keen business acumen to manage a growing caseload. We continue to work flexibly, both remotely from home and when required from our office in the City of London.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in practicing Immigration law as a Caseworker or Solicitor;
  • Detailed knowledge of Personal Immigration - [All types of Entry Clearance Visas, Further Leave to Remain and ILR];
  • Detailed knowledge of PBS System (Desired) - [All types of Business Immigration Visas & sponsorship applications];
  • Knowledge of areas including Immigration Appeal and Judicial review;
  • Advocacy and Experience of Tribunal work is beneficial;
  • Personal or Business Immigration client following preferred;
  • You will be highly motivated, resourceful self-starter with a positive can do manner;
  • Understand our Company culture and team values and embrace and promote them;
  • You will be charismatic and engaging;
  • You will be a good workload planner who can manage time vs tasks
  • You will lead by example but have the ability to delegate;

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Accreditation for OISC or at Level 2 Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme (IAAS) will be preferable;
  • It is essential you possess a minimum of 1 year PQE or the equivalent in private immigration law;
  • Previous experience of managing a small team of paralegals and assistants preferred;
  • Previous experience of managing a caseload;

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
